  1. Two words stand out to me in these verses: "guarantee" and "inheritance." It's awesome to know that by believing in Jesus, we are guaranteed to inherit eternal life.

  2. So that WE may be... To the praise of HIS Glory. That is the inheritance. That is the guarantee. That is the work of the Spirit in us.

  3. We love the that holy spirit is our guarantee. Our federal reserve if you will for our inheritance. It is all part of his plan to bring praise and glory to him here on earth and in eternity.

  4. Two things stuck out to us, the first is the natural progression and process that God has been carrying out and will carry out. He predestined us, Jesus obtained our salvation, we received it along with our guarantee, one day we will be with Jesus to experience the inheritance He has already given us.

Also, the phrase "according to the counsel of His will". That is and always will be how He does things. He is doing at CCCM and in all of us the things He has willed according to His counsel and not ours.

  5. Receiving an inheritance is essentially receiving favor from one who initiated it. Inhertances are normally left to family members. I'm part of Jesus family!
